Free Listening With Your Eyes workshop

Hello

I would like to invite you to a free “Listening With Your Eyes” workshop taking place on Thursday 26th April in Café Lomas (at the new Stratford Hospital).  Listening With Your Eyes is delivered by Vamos Theatre Company.  You may have heard of their production ‘Finding Joy’ about a grandson who cares for his grandmother who has dementia.

Listening With Your Eyes explores the ways in which we can communicate without words.  It offers an opportunity to see the effect of non-verbal techniques and their benefit in helping us makes connections – particularly with those living with dementia.  The attached poster gives some more details and you can find out more about Vamos Theatre and the workshop on their website.

There are two workshops available on Thursday 26th April – at 10.30am & 1:30pm.  Parking is available at Stratford Hospital but is not free.

If you are interested in attending please contact me (Marie Darwen) and let me know if you would prefer morning or afternoon.  Please note that one of workshops will be filmed by Vamos theatre, however I don’t know which one yet.

I would also be very grateful if you could forward this information on to any of your contacts or are able to display the attached poster in an appropriate place.

Kind regards

Marie
